Day 10: Social Media 

Tis the season for social media overload! If you find it hard to stick to your healthy lifestyle (both mentally and physically) while seeing a constant stream of food pictures, friend/family drama, complaining, bragging, etc etc, you are not alone. 

Be mindful with social media if you find it impacts you negatively. It's always ok to take a break from Facebook, twitter, snapchat, or Instagram. Even sites like Pinterest can seem overwhelming this time of year with endless recipes and crafts. 

Others may find social media as a source of inspiration and accountability. It may be encouraging to share healthy recipes or success stories, to see photos of loved ones, or provide a comment to a friend who is struggling.

Your feelings on social media are really a matter of personal opinion. The take home message here is know yourself and do what you need to do to care for yourself.
